Do you ship your cakes to other states?
Yes! We ship throughout the United States.

How far in advance do I need to order my cake?
We require a minimum of 24 hours on all cakes. So, you have to account for the 24 hour period + the number of business days it will take to reach you by UPS or USPS. For example, if you live in Tennessee, it takes 3 business days from MA to TN (not including the day it ships). That means, you need to place your order a minimum of 5 days ahead of the time. Keep in mind that UPS only delivers Monday – Friday. USPS delivers Monday – Saturday. The Barkery does NOT ship on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Are your cakes/treats edible for dogs?
Yes! All of our cakes and treats are made for your dog to eat!

Are your cakes/treats edible for humans?
Yes! We use only the finest human ingredients in all of our cakes & treats. Humans can eat them but will probably not enjoy them as much seeing how they do not have salt or sugar and are on the harder side!

How long are your cakes good for?
Our cakes will keep in your refrigerator for 10-14 days.

How long are your pastries good for?

Our pastries will keep in your refrigerator for 10-14 days.

How long are your decorated cookies good for?

Our decorated cookies will keep up to 3 months in your dog’s cookie jar.

How long are your canine biscuits good for?

Our canine biscuits will keep up to 6 months in your dog’s cookie jar.

How do you ship your items?
We ship all of our items through UPS or USPS. You can choose your preferred carrier at the time of checkout.

Why do you require thermal shipping boxes for cakes?
During the hotter months, we require the thermal shipping boxes to ensure that your cakes arrive to you safely. Because the cakes are perishable, too much time in the heat, or in transit can cause the cake to spoil. The icings can also melt under too much heat. The thermal shipping boxes help to protect against this.

I tried to purchase online and was unsuccessful.
Did you enter the correct billing address?  Did you remember to complete all of the checkout fields?

I made several attempts at an online purchase and I have multiple charges on my card.
Each time to attempt to make a purchase online using either a debit or credit card, your bank puts a “freeze” on that money so that at the end of the day, when the merchant submits to the bank to receive the money, the funds are available to the merchant. If you tried to place an order online and it was unsuccessful, it will appear as if your card was charged for each attempt, however, we do not submit for the charge unless we receive your order. These “freezes” are usually released within 72 hours from your bank. The Barkery cannot release these “freezes”.
